My name is Roma Kończak /rɔma koɲt͡ʂak/
I’m an artist, editor, and writer based in Poland, EU.
I’ve always been curious about the “why” behind what we do. My career hasn’t been a straight line—it’s been a series of deep dives into different worlds. I started as an aspiring mathematician (well, that didn’t last), became an art historian, spent years teaching ESL across China, Russia, and Kazakhstan, and eventually found my footing as a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and content editor.
Today, I’m balancing full-time editorial work with studying for a degree in psychology. I’m fascinated by the intersection of human behavior and the modern workplace: why we burn out, how we find meaning in our work life, and how we communicate our value to the world.
What I do best
I’ve spent a decade learning how to translate complex ideas into something people actually want to read. Here is where I focus my energy:
⁕ Human-centric content: I specialize in career advice, workplace psychology, and lifestyle topics. I don’t just write for SEO; I write for the person behind the screen who is looking for a way forward.
⁕ Strategic editing: With a background in high-volume content production and career coaching, I help sharpen voices and ensure every word serves a purpose.
⁕ Visual storytelling: Sometimes a paragraph isn’t enough. I create custom illustrations to help visualize psychological concepts and career transitions.
⁕ Cross-cultural communication: My years of teaching abroad taught me how to communicate across borders and cultures. I help brands find a voice that resonates with diverse audiences.
My philosophy
My scattered career history isn’t a fault; it’s an advantage.
I’ve never been interested in picking one path and staying in it. Instead, I’ve searched for the human element around every corner. Teaching English language showed me that good communication depends little on grammar and much on empathy. Art taught me to seek patterns under the surface and express ideas through images. Now, working toward a psychology degree helps me back up what I’ve observed along the way with facts and data.
I don’t want to produce content. I do my best to connect SEO requirements with real life led by messy yet fascinating humans who use the internet. My goal is to make the audience feel seen while delivering excellent quality for the brand.
When I’m not editing or studying, you can usually find me with a sketchbook in hand, likely trying to illustrate an idea that I’m still figuring out.
Or drawing cats.
Lots of cats.
